Chad Vaught is a Wichita, Kansas native. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in dance in 2017. While there, he danced in works by Trisha Brown, Stefanie Batten Bland, James Sewell, and Ori Flomin, along with creating his own works. Chad has danced as a guest with James Sewell Ballet, and performed in the Dallas Opera’s Samson et Dalila and Carmen, as well as the Dallas Theater Center’s Hairspray. In 2017, Chad joined Dallas Black Dance Theater: Encore!, and later joined Bruce Wood Dance Project. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2019, Chad has appeared in Ryan Murphy’s adaption of The Prom with Meryl Streep and Keegan-Michael Key.
