The Jason Scaccia Dance Scholarship is an initiative to honor the memory of Dancing with RKDC student, Jason Scaccia, and provide aspiring dancers with the financial means to attend quality dance classes. Jason is remembered for his kind and caring spirit and love of dance, and this scholarship was made possible because of the loving donations given to Dancing with RKDC after Jason’s passing in 2022. This scholarship will allow two aspiring dancers ages 8-16 to attend two weekly classes for one year and participate in two showcases. Applications for the 26-27 year will open early summer 2026.
About RKDC Classes
RKDC’s education program, Dancing with RKDC, offers a variety of dance classes including ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, and more! Scholarship recipients will be placed in classes based on previous dance experience, age, and schedule availability, See an example of our class listing here.

Dancing with RKDC has four class sessions per year; Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each session is eight weeks long. The Fall and Winter sessions include a student showcase. Scholarship recipients will participate in all four sessions and both showcases
