Hip Hop Krew, 8yrs +

RKDC’s Hip Hop performance group for intermediate – advanced level dancers. Students learn various styles of hip hop dance as they develop improvisation skills and individual style. Additional performance opportunities available. KREW Warm Ups : Members are required to purchase RKDC Krew Hoodie and Shirt.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of consistent technique training in Hip Hop Dance.
• Experience performing in front of an audience
• Proficient in musicality and footwork
• Proficient improvisation skills
• A desire to learn how to create choreography.

Sr. Company, 11yrs +

RKDC’s Senior level performance group studies ballet, contemporary, jazz, choreography, and performance for intermediate/advanced level dancers. Members focuses on enhancing technique, performance skills and artistry by developing choreography. Dancers receive numerous opportunities to perform and choreograph in large and small groups such as solos, duets and trios. Sr. Company Warm Ups: Members are required to purchase RKDC Sr. Company warm ups including a jacket and 2 shirts.

Requirements:

•  3-4 years of consistent technique training in ballet, jazz, contemporary
• Proficient in improvisation & choreography skills
• Execute at least 2 pirouettes
• Int/Adv flexibility
•  Concurrently enrolled in Ballet 2 or 3

Jr. Company, 9yrs +

RKDC’s Jr. level performance group focuses on enhancing technique, performance skills and artistry by studying techniques from ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern dance and choreography. Jr. Company dancers receive numerous opportunities to perform and choreograph in large and small groups such as solos, duets and trios. This group is not for beginning level dancers. RKDC Jr. Company Warm Ups: Members are required to purchase RKDC Jr. Company warm ups including a jacket and shirt.

Requirements:

•  2-3 years of consistent technique training in ballet, jazz, contemporary
• Execute at least 1 pirouette 
• Some flexibility
•  Concurrently enrolled in Ballet 2 or 3

Mini Company, 6-8yrs

RKDC’s Mini performance group teaches our youngest dancers about working together in a “team” atmosphere and focuses on enhancing technique, performance skills and artistry. Students study techniques from various forms of dance including ballet, jazz and contemporary. RKDC Mini Company Warm Ups: Members are required to purchase RKDC Mini Company warm ups including a jacket and shirt.

Requirements:

•  At least 1 year of consistent technique training in ballet, jazz, contemporary or jazz
• Demonstrate proper class behavior
• Some flexibility
•  Concurrently enrolled in a ballet and/or contemporary class.
