Far From Home: Preview screening, Artist Talk, and Movement Experience

Join Regina Klenjoski at Harvester Arts as part of Smack Dab Dance Fest for an intimate event centered on Far From Home, a seven-part dance film about migration and the hope of new beginnings.

Filmed at the Scottish Rite Center in Wichita, Far From Home is inspired by the stories of those who leave one home in search of another. Through dance, original music, and poetry, the film reflects on the courage, longing, and possibility carried by the immigrant experience.

For this special event, Regina will share “Opportunity,” a 9-minute section from the larger work. Exuberant and full of momentum, “Opportunity” explores the excitement and the courage it takes to step toward the unknown. This event will include a preview screening, short artist talk, brief accessible movement experience drawn from the dance film, and audience conversation. No dance experience is required!
