Join us for an opportunity to witness two versions of Regina Klenjoski’s choreography for US. Experience the original version, which was created as a dance film, staged and shot in a downtown Wichita parking garage, then see its evolution as Regina reimagined and restructured it for a vastly different outdoor space in the gardens of Botanica. Regina will also talk about both the societal and personal aspects of the work, and how music, environment, and bodies influence the meaning and purpose of this piece. Also joining us for this event is composer Alex Wakim to talk about the creation of the new score that is used for the outdoor version of US.
