UNLEASH. CREATE. MOVE. Step into the studio with RKDC. Train daily in technique, somatics, improvisation, repertory, and dive into new creative work. Work alongside company and guest artists and award-winning choreographer Regina Klenjoski. For Intermediate/Advanced, pre-professional & professional dancers. No audition necessary. Just bold, brave dancing.

Housing:
Housing is available at Wichita State University’s Shocker Hall, a state-of-the-art residence hall that is a five-minute walk to the dance studio. Dorm rooms are fully furnished with an extra-long twin bed, desk, dresser and closet for each guest. Dining options are located in Shocker Hall as well as a kitchen, laundry and lounge area. The nightly rate is $35/person for a single room and $30/person for double. A linen package is available for $6/person. Housing must be booked and paid for through RKDC by June 23, 2025. We are proud to offer one full and two partial scholarships for our 18+ Intensive to help make this experience accessible for dancers. If you are interested in applying for a tuition scholarship, we invite you to submit a short video (3-5 minutes) as part of the application process.
To be considered for a scholarship, submit a link to a 3-5 minute video that includes the following: (1) A brief self-introduction, including your name and a concise overview of your previous training; (2) video excerpts that highlight your technical skills (barre and/or center class work); and (3) include 2-3 excerpts of phrase work, which could be in the form of improvisation or choreography, in studio or performance. Please submit your video as a shareable link (such as YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive) by emailing dance@rkdc.org. Include your name in the email. The deadline for scholarship submissions is June 6, 2025.
