Who It’s For
Aspiring high school, college, and pre-professional dancers seeking focused contemporary training. Having at least an intermediate level technical understanding is recommended. (Musical theatre movers who want more technical refinement are welcome.)
What You’ll Do
Three days of immersive contemporary technique, repertory, and professional practices. Expect energetic classes that build musicality, floorwork, and performance nuance – plus partnering skills, somatic awareness and improvisation training.
Daily Flow (sample)
10:00–11:15 Contemporary Technique (modern, ballet, contemporary)
11:20–12:20 Phrasework & Floorwork focus on flow, strength, phrasing
12:20–1:00 Lunch (bring your own)
1:00–1:40 Improvisation / Somatics / Yoga
1:45–3:00 RKDC Repertory / Partnering
(Exact schedule and faculty roster announced in December. Doors open 30 minutes before the first class.)
